Review #2: Mint.netic Eyeliner & Lash System

Fun fact, Mint Lashes is my first love in the lash industry. I continue to use their product from this day & encourage all my beginner lash friends to give them a try. When I found out they released a new line of lashes, I knew that I had to get my hands on them! I was one of 3 lucky winners to have won $400 (retail) worth of product! This opened up the opportunity for me to finally put their system to the test. Giveaway prize included: - 9 styles of falsies - 1 clear adhesive eyeliner - 1 black adhesive eyeliner - 1 mini scissor - 1 application tool Items I used: -Falsies in "Divine" -Clear adhesive liner As instructed, I applied two coats of the clear adhesive eyeliner & waited for them to dry in-between. Their eyeliners are known to be smudge-proof, water-proof & long-lasting! After a minute of waiting, it had become tacky & transparent. But not sticky, which is great for me because I have monolids, so my skin would most likely stick together if it were just regular eyelash glue. I then applied the first false lash & they just... Popped on! The second lash was just as simple & easy! After a couple of hours of wearing, while running errands, I could slowly feel the outer corner of a lash strip coming loose. The eyeliner wasn't tacky enough to stick back on, so I had to reapply them once I got back in the car. But this is what got me. Unlike using regular lash glue, I was able to remove both of the lash strips without it looking like I had leftover residue all over my eyelids. For my everyday wearers, you know this struggle! Remaining lash glue on your eyelashes is not fun or healthy! This is one of the reasons why I loved using this product. Using the same method as before, I attempted to apply a thicker line this time & popped them on. I could feel that this time, they definitely weren't going to move. I believe that this method of applying lash strips can be a real game-changer for the beauty industry when done correctly. I want to know your thoughts!
