As some of you may already know, I recently started offering a new mobile service! Brow lamination have been trending in the last year & even though we lash & brow techs are aware, a lot of my clients have no clue what it is. Though I do not provide all these brow services, I am more than happy to recommend you to someone. Here are some of the new beauty enhancements that are currently trending!

Brow Lamination

Brow lamination is a process in which the brow hairs are restructured & styled according to the desired outcome, it's a customizable service! This procedure creates volumized brows, groomed brows, or simply used for correcting by brushing your brow hairs & using skin-safe chemicals to set into place. Tinting & shaping is optional; helping your eyebrows appear more defined. It's a great alternative to semi-permanent make up, as it has a more natural look to it.

Microblading/Ombré

Microblading/Ombré is a semi-permanent tattoo technique used to create the illusion of fuller brows. With this method, you can create anything from light natural brows to a beautifully bold brow. Microblading uses a small blade to create tiny hair-like strokes to mimic your natural brow hairs while ombré uses a pen-like machine that creates small dots to give a softer & blended result. Depending on your desired service, these results can last 1-2 years with occasional touch-up appointments to keep them looking on point! This procedure can take up to an hour, with a consultation included accomplishing your desired look. A long term solution for effortless, perfect brows!

Henna Brows

Henna is a paste that is all-natural & derived from plants, different from the usual eyebrow tint. Because of this, it is safe to use on the majority of skin types. Henna brow treatments involve staining your skin & brow hairs, a great way to improvise eyebrow shapes or before committing to a brow procedure (ex. semi-permanent brows). Minimal aftercare is needed. However, oil-based products/oily skin can cause the tint to fade quicker. The paste needs roughly 10-15 minutes (depending on your technician & products/henna) to process with results that can last up to 2-3 weeks, depending on your hair & skin type. Suitable for vacation & occasions!

Brow Tint

Bold brows are in! Using a vegetable-based dye, it will need to sit anywhere from 2-5 minutes depending on the richness of colour you want to achieve. The tint will last up to 3-6 weeks, depending on your hair growth cycle. You can inquire for touch up appointments when it starts to fade & no aftercare is needed. However, you can help the tint last longer by using sunscreen & a gentle cleanser around the area. Another short term brow transformation!

Brow Serum

Serums are great for anyone & everyone! But please note that they could cause irritation on those with sensitive skin. There are dozens of brow serums out there, but they're not all created equal, so be sure to do your research for the best product suited for you! Using a serum requires time & dedication, consistency is key! Results can take up to 8-12 weeks to notice, & similar to going to the gym, the growth cycle with revert back to normal if you discontinue using it. Unfortunately, I can't estimate how long results will last for after use, but to enhance your real brow hairs is more than worth it to me!
